Watching your home movies can be more enjoyable if you just take some time and follow these tips. First and best tip, purchase a tripod. A tripod will make all the difference in your home movies and won't make your viewers dizzy. If you do hold the camera in your hands, hold it with both hands and use your body as the tripod, when moving from left to right or right to left move slowly, don't jerk the camera while moving. When shooting outside try position yourself so the sun is behind you. Try not to shoot directly into the sun. Another item you might want to purchase if you want to record clear sound is a microphone that you can plug into the camera, this way you will hear the sound nice and clear. If you decide not to and still want to record clear audio, take the person into a room that is quiet to record the sound.
