Three Loose Nuts
http://cronje.ca
We're a forty-something couple, surviving, struggling to keep growing, living the typical family life with our daughter on the Canadian Prairies. At times we find the physical, intellectual and cultural isolation of small town Canada lonely and frustrating. Other times we are grateful we have a safe, quiet place to raise our daughter. Still, we miss the diversity of the cosmopolitan areas we have experienced in the past, even if we don't miss the traffic, the air pollution and the crime. In our home we share a great passion for the sciences, arts and literary pursuits, and have started this blog as a way for us to document some of the events, dialogs and thoughts that hold meaning for us. We do this mainly for ourselves: we met with the written word, and so with the written word we continue to touch each other. But we also desire to reach others, the few souls out there who walk in our intellectual reality. More recently, the three of us have embarked upon a new adventure, that of home-educating NutLittle. We intend to use this blog to document our experiences in this area as well. Sometimes we wonder how NutLittle gets along with two such unconventional parents: first we refuse to have a television, then we want to go the home education route!
