Tony Blair is being forced out of power before his time is up. Who decides and why? Democracy in action or a coup? Is the popular leader being dumped by his party for electoral reasons or on a point of principle? If the latter, which principle? What say have the electorate who voted him and his party back in for a third historic term only 17 months ago?
