We are four writers from three different continents (Europe, North America, and Africa), living as ex-pats in three different countries (France, Taiwan, and America), who were all at some time or another in the same place and decided to write about how the world doesn't need to be so dysfunctional. If people would just start listening to us, they would understand that things aren't as bad as they seem, and the solutions might not be so difficult.
Then again, they may be. That's what we're trying to find out.
A blog started by four people from three different countries on three different continents about globalization, culture, language, identity and other big questions of our generation like "what does John Bolton hide in his mustache?"
An attempt by one man to understand the crazy, mixed-up world of Taiwanese life and politics, as well as how that crazy, mixed-up world relates to the even more insane, even more bassackwards world as a whole.
