At first, my blog was supposed to be a window into my neighborhood in Coconut Grove. It was filled with cokehead misfits and drunken war veterans who provided loads of entertainment for as long as I lived there. Unfortunately, as all good things do, the fun came to an end in that neighborhood. (I’ll post some of those old stories real soon)
That gave birth to the next phase of my blog: Chronicles in the life of a 20-something. Around the same time that the craziness started to decline in my neighborhood, I graduated college, got my first real job, and entered the next phase of my journey through life. I don’t have to really explain what it’s about; obviously if you’re here, you’re reading it.
But at the core of it, I write because I feel I have something to say. Not just for myself, but for the 15% of the population who are just like me; in their 20’s, aimlessly wandering through life with a handle-full of vodka and a bachelor’s degree.
I’m 22-years-old, single, and honest. I try not to mince words in order to please people and I say what’s on my mind. That also justifies the random postings I put up on occasion, since 95% of what you see here took me less than 15 minutes to write.
I don’t write because I think my story is better than yours because ultimately, my story is quite possibly your story, too. And I hope you keep reading.
