You won't find many political rantings in this blog, titled Raven's Nest. Not that I don't have strong political views. There are enough of those blogs out there. This blog began as a personal way to explore art, photography and writing online and has evolved over the last two years into an almost daily expression. Raven's Nest is about noticing and seeing the beauty in everyday things.
I am a landscape designer, artist and photographer. I am 50+, married with 5 adult children, and I live in Montana, USA. I write short essays about things that I know about or am interested in that I think my blog readers would also enjoy reading.
My blog touches on many topics including landscape and garden design, art, cutting-edge design, family, relationships, photography, poetry and life. The majority of my posts feature at least one of my photos or digital art pieces. I am active in several online groups such as Flickr, Utata and Poetry Thursdays. Raven's Nest is not a political or commercial blog.
