The idea behind this blog is for me to make gradual changes in my life to reclaim my emotional and spiritual health as well as to motivate myself to get our overall household and finances in order. It is about clearing out the old to make way for the new. It is about digging myself out of the spiritual hole that I fell into a few years ago and never found my way out of. It is about my trying to do something, even something small and seemingly insignificant, every day in an effort to make my life (and my world) a better place. I do not know if I will be able to maintain this blog. I cannot promise that it will not include moments of despair and hopelessness. But, my hope is to use it as a tool to try and ….. one day at a time ….. to transform my life and myself by the dawning of 2009.
