Lisa is the caregiver and sole supporter for 3 children ages 18, 15 and 7, and her husband who has Huntington's disease. Although only in his forties he has dementia like that of someone in their 80s. There is no cure or therapy. It is not considered terminal although within 15 to 20 years of onset it results in death. This blog is part of her plan to keep this disease from consuming her life. It is an account of her daily struggles, her inspiration and surprising humor.
