I'm married to the perfect husband. Yes, perfect. He didn't come that way, but thanks to coming from a family of four sisters, he was pretty easy to mold...so far. We are currently living in our dream house, it doesn't quite have a kitchen, and there is still plastic up on some of the more drafty windows, but I guess we're both pretty good at envisioning what it will be and are pretty happy with what we've got. What I'm getting at is that we were roped into renovating a house, by my mom, a renovator. She trapped us just two days before my son was born into going to an auction for an old dilapidated house that we quickly fell in love with (I blame 'nesting', really, how much more can you nest than buying a house?). We've been working on it for awhile now, all but 3 rooms are livable. So, there we are. My son, my husband, and my house. What more does a stay at home mom need?
